Bloccs Waterproof Leg Protector (sometimes called broken leg cast covers) is ideal if you are recuperating from a foot, ankle or leg injury and need to protect the wound, burn, dressing, broken leg cast or prosthetic leg from water while you shower, bathe or swim.

Because our waterproof leg protector is made from durable natural rubber, they are soft and flexible. This enables the cast cover to be stretched without ripping or tearing, this makes it quick and easy to put on and take off.

The waterproof leg protector is conformed to the shape of your leg and the natural rubber is soft, making it comfortable to wear against your skin. It won’t cause any irritation (unless you have an allergy to rubber). It is reusable and completely submersible in both freshwater and saltwater and will keep your injured leg 100% dry.

Finding the Right Size Leg Cover

Step 1: Measure for the right cover length.

  • Measure from the heel to 5cm above the cast or dressing.

Step 2: Measure for a watertight seal.

  • Measure the circumference (distance) around the leg 5cm above the cast or dressing.

Step 4: Check the Size Chart

  • From the Leg Size Chart in the product images, choose the Bloccs cover which will fully fit over the cast or dressing.

 

XS - Child: Length 35cm, Circumference from 20cm to 23cm

S - Child: Length 41cm, Circumference from 22cm to 25cm

M - Child: Length 56cm, Circumference from 24cm to 32cm

Must buy

Makes showering so much easier having one of these. I went for the long one as it seemed like the short one would not fit based on dimensions. I have a cast below the knee. I probably could've got a small looking back. The long one is still ok but it is very big and as my leg wastes away it is getting looser. It would be useful if an adult medium size option was available for people that are a bit taller or with bigger calves.

Take the stress out of your injury while having a shower.

I was in a non-weight bearing cast and found the short waterproof cover (Adult large) easy to put on and off and remaining waterproof.
When upgraded to a weight bearing cask, I found it awkward in getting the waterproof cover over the foot block and catching on the rough surface of the cask in places.
I purchased a leg cover, and this goes on the cast first, then the wet cover goes on over the leg cover.
This made it much easier in getting the waterproof cover on and around the block thus avoiding any catching or ripping on the cask's hard surface/corners.
The foot block does increase the cast size by about 20% on the sole so it does make a challenge if you have a large foot. I wear a 45 EU / US 9 and if over that size with a weight bearing cast, I suggest looking at the full-length wet casks for the larger sizing.
